Programming
Registration
Sunday July 28th registration will begin at 3:00 pm in the Campbell residence lobby, Main Street, Sackville, NB. Dinner will be in the Jennings Dining Hall from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. There will be a short orientation/welcome session at 6:15 pm in the Dining Hall before the evening social dance begins at 7:30 pm in the Athletic Centre Gym.
Check out/end of the school
On the final Sunday, August 4th there will be a brunch from 9:00 to 11:00 am and then dancers will say goodbye until next year!
There is the option to add on a tour of PEI and Cape Breton following the school. This will run from Sunday to Thursday August 8th and will finish with drops at either the Halifax or Moncton airports.
Mornings
The week will offer five levels of classes from 9:00 to 11:45 am each day taught by the group of core teachers with music provided by the group of six musicians on staff this year. The teachers and musicians will rotate so that the classes will experience a variety of teaching and music. A detailed schedule will be posted here closer to the event.
Afternoons
The afternoons will feature a wide variety of optional classes for participants to choose from, including the following:
- Focus on formations
- Ball dance practices
- Highland classes
- Step dance classes
- Personal improvement classes
- Music appreciation
Wednesday afternoon there will be several options to tour the area around Sackville and see some of the local attractions. The tours section will have all of the details and online registration will be available to secure your space.
Evenings
Sunday - Social Dance Welcome Night
- Introduce yourself to dancers from near and far and meet the staff of teachers and musicians who will share your week in Sackville.
Monday - Social Dance
- Meet in the Maritimes!
Tuesday - Social Dance
- Casual dress night
Wednesday - Concert

Relax, rest your feet and enjoy the six talented musicians as they perform in concert in the beautiful Brunton Auditorium.
Thursday - Social dance

Tartan explosion night! Come dressed in a little or a lot of tartan.
Friday - Ceilidh
- Be ready to perform: whether it be singing, dancing, playing an instrument, telling a joke, or a recitation, share your talent with us.
Saturday - Banquet and Ball
- A wine reception will be followed by a formal Banquet and Ball to finish off a fantastic week.
